It seems that the development of this library has ceased, after the v2 beta 1 nothing happened.
So there isn't any road map and planed releases?

there maybe some changes. But for XSSF, the interface should be stable enough. Don't worry about that. NPOI beta 2 is coming in Dec. 2013
